About us

Welcome to the Balbriggan/North County Dublin branch of Irish guide dogs for the blind. Founded in 1985 after the first guide dog "Frank" came to live with his owner in the town of Balbriggan; which is located 22 miles North of Dublin City, just off the M1 motorway. This branch of Irish guide dogs is run entirely, as all the branches of the organization are, by volunteers.

This web site has been set up to promote and support the work of the Balbriggan\North County Dublin fundraising Branch of Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind.
While the aim of this site is to promote local fundraising events the contents and any views expressed on the site are not necessarily the policies of Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind.
